The Hawaiian Style Two-Fer Tour
April 22 and May 5, 2017
Tour?! Eh not really. This series of shows was referred to as "Hawaiian" because we were going to play a pizza party at NJIT that got rescheduled at the last minute, then canceled even more last minute than that. It was out of our control or understanding. But, we made up for with with two killer shows: one in Edison at the Behr Office and one at a Cinco de Mayo party!

A Wine Tasting Above Club XXXV
February 25, 2017

Great set, but I think more people were there for the wine than the bands. The metal band after us had a violin player so that was kinda cool.

Carlton Ave Block Party
August 16, 2014
Decided this time to just make up the setlist as we went along. We went up earlier than expected because the previous band was The Julian Lipoff Experience, and they only had a few songs. Because of this, we played for much longer than we had planned. Pretty solid set overall.

The Brighton Bar
April 18, 2014
We, along with a few other local groups, opened for The Independents in Long Branch, and performed quite nicely, I must say. The setlist we put together was pretty ideal, and I really like the order and pacing of the songs chosen.

The Break Contest Round 2 at GameChanger World
April 12, 2014
A month-or-so of more practicing and more noise complaints later, we went down to Howell again for the ever-anticipated round two. I rocked the Tails hat and some sweet sunglasses this show, and played ukulele on the intro to our cover.

Rutgers Coffee House at Demarest Hall
March 27, 2014
Before playing our rough electric set, I played a solo acoustic set of songs that are easy on guitar and I could remember on the spot. It was a little last minute, but it went quite well. This show also brought forth an epic reunion of Asphodel, who shares our drummer.

The Break Contest Round 1 at GameChanger World
March 2, 2014
After some intense practice weeks (including two noise complaints on the morning of the show before we left), we managed to kick some dick. We made it to the next round, and we got extra points for Best Cover ("What's Up"). Joe changed into the PARTY GIRL croptop for the second song, and I was gonna wear the Tails hat, but then I didn't.

We planned originally to debut two new originals, but the second had to be skipped because we were playing longer than the minimum set length for the contest (twenty minutes). It was a 29-minute set in total, including stage banter. My personal favorite quote of mine was "There's nothing more American than money".

Open Mic Night at The Monroe Twp Library
December 4, 2013
After some hand-numbing rehearsing/busking by the library parking lot, the band got together in that big projection screen room and played a couple of originals for the open mic night. I sang the clean lyrics to the songs, and Jeremy played his new bongos along to the three sloppy acoustic guitars. But it was sloppy in a punk sorta way. I liked it.

Ryan O'Leary's Birthday Party
September 28, 2013
After the pizza challenge and my four-song, two-BNL-cover solo set, Spineapples returned for a tighter-than-something-funny-that's-tight set. Not a lot of noticable fuck-ups, and we didn't even have to argue with Greg in front of everyone. :D

The power trio returned, once again Joe-less, for what I think was a pretty solid show. We learned today that our songs sound better when we play them faster.

Time to Fro: The Phinal Charter of Doox Cookout: Freddy's Dead - Jason Goes to Hell
March 8, 2013

Because Joe was delivering pizza, we were stuck with the Spineapples power trio. Despite that, it was quite a good show overall. We even debuted two new songs that we polished up at the very last minute, and they went swimmingly.

Doox First Annual End of the Worlg Festival
December 21, 2012

The originals went over better than the covers. Dumpweed had a false start because our sound sucked, and both Greg and Joe started adjusting their amps at the same time. Otherwise, decent show.

Dook's Cookout III: Fat Times at Ridgemont High

The audience was very drunk, so I couldn't really tell if they actually liked us or not. I think they just liked that we played Blink-182.

Jeremy/Ed/Andy's Graduation Party
July 1, 2012
Very last-minute show. We had to use Asphodel's out-of-tune instruments (well, they were in drop D or something). Joe even had to use a seven-string.

No drums; Jeremy plays acoustic bass and sings backing vocals. Greg could not join us because he was performing as a solo act.

Joe's Surprise Birthday Party
January 31, 2011
After a stellar performance by Asphodel, Supafunky sorta kinda did an AC/DC cover to a crowd of fiveish. It wasn't that bad I guess.

Jeremy's Birthday Party
November 13, 2010

Our awkward de-butt, under the name Supafunky. It was my first time playing bass ever, and I had the lyrics to Beverly Hills taped to the mic stand. Very embarrassing, but I think Bob has a video of it somewhere. That'll be funny to watch in a decade or two.
